How to Register for the Convocation

Dear Graduates,
You will be pleased to know that His Excellency the Honourable President and the Chancellor of World University of Bangladesh has given kind consent to conduct the 5th Convocation of World University of Bangladesh on 28th November 2022. You are advised to follow the instructions and guidelines given below to complete the registration process.

Eligibility to Register in the Convocation: Students who have fulfilled all requirements for the award of the degrees from January 2017 to December 2021 are eligible to register for the 5th Convocation.

The dates for registration: From 25/09/2022 to 17/10/2022. Please note that no application will be entertained after the deadline.

How to Register for the Convocation?

Step 1: Check your Eligibility for the 5th convocation.

Step 2: If you are eligible, please insert the required data in the prescribed form online in the same link. Please note that you must upload your recent photograph as per the instruction given in the manual/tutorial.

Step 3: Pay your registration fees in favour of “World University of Bangladesh” through the online payment gateway, ie. Bkash, Nagad, Bank or to the Accounts Section of WUB.

Step 4: After completing the registration process including payment, you are required to submit the printed copy of the application to the WUB Campus (Avenue 6 and Lake Drive Road, Sector-17/H, Uttara, Dhaka) along with the following documents. Applications with missing documents will not be accepted.

The following documents must be submit at the WUB Campus within the registration period (from 25/09/2022 to 17/10/2022).

(A) Those who already collected the Provisional Certificate
  • Printed copy of the completed online application
  • Original copy of the Provisional Certificate
  • One set photocopy of WUB transcript
  • Photocopy of money receipt/payment document for Convocation Registration Fee
  • Two copies of recent pasport size photograph (must be lab printed)
(B) Those who did not apply for the Provisional Certificate
  • Printed copy of the completed online application
  • Photocopy of all previous academic certificates and transcripts/mark sheets.
  • Blue coloured original Clearance form must be signed by the office of Library, Accounts and Registrar mentioned in the form : Original copy of previous academic certificates and transcripts/mark sheets must be shown the registrar’s office to have the final clearance.
  • Photocopy of money receipt/payment document for Convocation Registration Fee
  • Two copies of recent pasport size photograph (must be lab printed)

Please note: The spelling of your name and your parents’ name must have to be similar in all the previous academic documents
